The Breakfast Club meets Halloween in this comedic horror from local writer/director Glenn Triggs. A young filmmaker begins shooting his perfect horror film, unaware that a real life serial killer is stalking his cast and crew. Violent, playful and loaded with unique deaths and handmade Raimi-esque gore effects, Cinemaphobia is shot almost entirely inside a cinema, and features a new and wholly original villain you'll be dying to meet – Mirrorface. Directors Notes:
Cinemaphobia was an amazing two years from start to finish. The entire film may of never happened if it hadn't of been for the Metro Cinema in Boronia, allowing us to shoot for more than 41 days in total to complete the film. The most difficult thing was to keep the momentum going over this time - as cast members went overseas for short periods of time and working around the business of the Cinema. But we all did it and the result was incredible.
