THE FOLLOW © 2004
Addiction to nowhere. In the middle of nothing.
Set in the not too distant future. Astronomy student Andrea Lane is a young educated woman following her dreams to be accepted into the International School of Space and Science, when a tragic accident claims the life of her best friend. Andrea is quickly introduced to S.M.R. (Selective Memory Removal) a facility that offers to hault the trauma of her friends' death. Soon after the removal, unexplanable visions drive Andrea into obsession with the Earth's main source of oxygen, the OxGen Forest. Andrea leads a new friend, Hayden deep into the unknown synthetic jungle to discover the unimaginable.

Directors Notes
The Follow was a very long process to get finished, as it was the first feature (officially) that I had made. The music was one of the things that I learnt the most about on this film. It was shot with two different mini DV cameras, one had cost about $1,200 and the other $5,000 - and luckily you can't tell the difference between the two. The big set piece was the OxGen Forest sequence which was shot in one full day amazingly. Pickups were shot near my place at a small section or forest next to a freeway.
The Follow still holds up as great adventure sci-fi film.
